Emthanjeni Primary SchoOL

Emthanjeni Primary School was opened in 1971. It offers Grade 4-7 with 474 learners this year. The school is a quintile 3 school and it is a no fee school, It is situated at Nonzwakazi Location. The language of instruction is English and the Home Language is isiXhosa. In terms of personnel, there are 10 post level teachers, 2 departmental heads, a deputy principal and a principal. There are 2 support staff members. The school is from a previously disadvantaged community. Learners are offered food through the NSNP of the DOE. There are 16 classes that are used for teaching and has adequate ablution facilities. The school accommodates learners from all surrounding areas, like Nonzwakazi, Barcelona, Malay Camp, Waterdal and in town.
